About

“The term Lojong literally means mental, or spiritual, transformation. Lo means mind… the mental events that arise within the stream of consciousness as responses to primary perceptions. Jong means to train, to discipline, to transform, or to change. The implication is that Lojong is a tradition directly aimed at transforming the patterns fusing within the spirit; its function as an enlightenment path is to change the flow of our mental continuum from negative to positive, from confused and distorted to clear and wise.”

His Holiness The Seventh Dalai Lama (Kelzang Gyatso, 1708 – 1757)

“The whole point of transforming our heart and mind is to find happiness.”

“What is clear is that, as human beings, we all have the natural desire to be happy and the wish to overcome suffering.”

His Holiness The Fourteenth Dalai Lama (Tenzin Gyatso, 1935 –   )
